WIA Skating Academy
Take your skating to the next level!
WIA Skating Academy
Build on what you’ve learned in the Basic Skills program and make the transition to figure skating. Our coaches focus on skill mastery, teaching you progressive skating skills, spins, jumps and artistry on ice. This program is for graduates of Pre-Free Skate.
Each class consists of 50 minutes of instruction followed by a 30-minute freestyle session to practice what you’ve learned. Classes are held on Sundays.
Pre-Free Skate
A 30-minute transitional class bridging the gap from Basic 6 to the WIA Academy. This class provides an introduction to jumps, spins, and moves in the field. Classes are held on Saturday mornings at 11:30am.
Junior Academy
An introduction to figure skating for Basic 5-6 students. Classes are 50 minutes of instruction, followed by a 30-minute freestyle session to practice what you’ve learned. Classes are held on Sundays.
Academy Skills
Practice your edges, jumps, and spins under the watchful eye of a coach.
